Maria has been singing since she could talk and performing since the first grade. She started out dancing for talent shows and after two years of dancing realized she was meant to be singing. As a child she was invited to sing for weddings, charities, and beauty pageants. In high school she sang the national anthem for the Colorado Rockies and for high school sports events. From 2002 through 2004 she opened up for Comstock for acts such as Martina McBride, Trick Pony, Kenny Chesney, and Gary Allen. Although music is a big part of Maria’s life, in 2006 she had a baby boy and he has become her pride and joy.
